Our story

A church CRM built by someone who kept getting the call.

I'm the founder of Flocksy. I've spent more than fifteen years working in churches — first on the audio-visual side, then in IT, eventually as the trusted advisor a congregation calls when something has gone sideways with the projector, the network, the giving system, or the latest "new app we're evaluating."

And in those fifteen-plus years, I kept seeing the same picture. Small and mid-size churches — the ones pastoring 50, 200, 600 people on a Sunday — almost always outgrew the spreadsheet. They wanted to know who was attending, who was giving, who was slipping through the cracks. They wanted to actually communicate with their people, not blast the same email twice.

But every time they went shopping for software, the picture got worse. The big church-management platforms cost more than a part-time youth pastor. The "affordable" ones were usually just spreadsheets dressed up with a login screen. The good tools assumed a church had a full-time tech director, an IT budget, and a board willing to spend six figures on software no one on staff could configure.

So churches stayed stuck. Sticking with what they had, or worse — quietly giving up on doing it well at all. Good shepherds, doing their best with a folder of CSVs and a prayer. None of that felt right to me.

Our mission

Flocksy exists to give small and mid-size churches a modern, affordable CRM they can actually use. The kind of tool that makes a Wednesday-morning admin volunteer feel like she has her act together — without needing a big budget or a big IT team behind her.

That's the standard we hold ourselves to. If a feature costs the church more in time and confusion than it gives back, it doesn't ship. If a price tag makes a 120-person church hesitate even for a second, we've priced it wrong.

Why we call it Flocksy

The name comes from one word: flock. A congregation is a flock. The pastor is its shepherd. The whole work of ministry — showing up, giving, following up, looking out for the ones slipping away — is the work of a shepherd keeping watch over a flock.

Flocksy is the tool that helps a shepherd keep track of the flock. Who's showing up. Who's giving. Who's been gone a few weeks. Whose kid just had a birthday. Which new visitor came back a second time. All the things a good pastor actually wants to know — without having to maintain a spreadsheet or sell the building to afford enterprise software.

A small church deserves software that knows its flock — and respects its budget.

What Flocksy is

To be candid about what we're building: Flocksy is a church CRM. Membership, giving, communications, volunteers — that's the heart of it. It's the work a church actually does week to week, gathered into one place, built so a non-technical admin can run it on day one.

We're not trying to be the operating system for your whole church. We're not selling a "platform" or a "suite." We're building a focused CRM that does the four things small and mid-size churches need most, does them really well, and stays out of the way of everything else.

Thanks for reading. If Flocksy sounds like the kind of tool your church has been looking for, I'd love to hear from you.
